Kaye’s retirement.
Kaye has been with Kinross Chiropractic for over 13years, an important part of the clinic even before I (Evan) bought the practice.
Kaye retired at the end of September and will be missed meeting and greeting everyone who comes to the clinic.
We wish her all the best for her future adventures. If you didn’t have the chance to say goodbye, and you’d like to drop her a line and wish her well… pop your details into form below, and I will pass them on!
From here on in, I’ll be running the clinic solo.
You’ll see a few changes in the reception area over the next few weeks, and I’ll be making a few tweaks to how I run things behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly.
Keeping Care Affordable:
I’ve always tried to make the care that i provide as affordable and accessible as possible.
I’d hate that someone didn’t have the care they need because it wasn’t viable for them.
So here’s a few options on how I can best help you.
Get on top of a problem earlier rather than later.
The longer you leave care, generally speaking the more care it takes to get back on top of a problem. Come in, and nip what ever the issue is early when it’s a niggle… rather than it building into a major deal.
Long-term pain (6months+)? - talk to your GP about a Team Care Arrangement / Chronic Disease Management Plan.
Your GP can establish a team care arrangement (TCA) or Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan that allows up to 5 visits to an Allied Health Professional (including chiropractor) to be contributed to by Medicare in a year.
If you are referred to me on a TCA / CDM I will bulk-bill the allocated visits.
Your GP has to directly refer you to the clinic with the appropriate form. (I’m happy to help you with any questions you may have.
Get to know what you are entitled to with you Private Health Coverage.
Most Private Health fund cover provides partial coverage of your fee for approximately 8-10sessions per year.
Log into you account. See how much you have available to you. You can normally also see how much you will get back… the code for a standard consult is 1005
Short-term subsidised Care.
I’d rather you receive care, than not have any at all.
Talk to me. I can take on a limited number of patients per month at a short-term reduced rate.
Updated Website:
I know most people use the website to make their booking online, so I’ve given it a little revamp to make the booking process as simple as possible.
Now when you visit on your mobile or desktop - a quick press of the top right hand corner and you’ll be go direct to the booking page.
Getting in contact will be easier too. Just submit your details on the contact page with your message, and it will go directly to me.
That’s it for the updates!
